Our purpose:
The purpose of the Special Friends Ministry is to give those individuals and families affected by special needs the opportunity to fully engage in the life of the church. We offer an inclusive and specialized ministry to give families freedom to attend worship services knowing that their special needs loved ones are being included in a safe, Christ-centered environment. Special Friends Ministry provides trained Buddies who individually engage with each child. Our buddies are always welcoming, accepting and loving - a true reflection of God’s love.
Ages:
Currently the focus of the Special Friends Ministry is on children with special needs birth – age 12, with hopes to expand the ministry to include other age groups in the future.
When:
Special Friends is offered during the 10:45am service on Sunday mornings.
How to Register a Child:
If you would like to bring your child to be a part of this ministry, we ask that you use the buttons to the right to register your child and check out the guidelines for parents. Both forms must be printed, signed, and mailed to:
