FAQs

If you’re new to Lima Community Church or maybe just visiting for the first time, you probably have some questions for us! Below we’ve answered some commonly asked questions. If you still have a question, please feel free to contact us!

What does Lima Community Church believe?

Check out our "What We Believe" page by clicking here.

What should I wear?

Clothes! Seriously. We don't have a dress code - just come dressed.

How early should I get there?

We recommend getting here 15 to 20 minutes before the service starts. That will give you enough time to park, check your kids in, and grab a cup of coffee.

How long will the service last?

Each service will last right around an hour. You'll be out in time for lunch, we promise!

I don't believe in God - am I still welcome here?

Absolutely! We don't expect you to believe the same things we do - we just hope that you'll be open to exploring what this whole Jesus thing is about. But we do expect that you'll laugh at our jokes - or at least fake it.

What do I do with my kids when I'm here?

Bring them! We have children's services just for your kids that we know they will love. Check out our children's ministry page for more info.

I have one teen in middle school and one in high school. What about them?

It's their lucky day! Student Ministries has their very own service for teens in grades 6-12 at 6pm on Sunday nights at the AXIS. For more info, check out our Students 6-12 ministry page.

It's snowing/storming. Are Sunday services cancelled?

The Sunday morning services will only be canceled if Allen County (OH) issues a Level 3 emergency. Be sure to follow us on Facebook for the most up-to-date information.
