Imagine a place where children will learn that GOD is a friend who will love them forever. Come join us in upTOWN Preschool where your preschooler (age 4 years old - kindergarten) will have the best hour of their week.
This is an exciting, action-packed experience designed with your preschooler in mind. Puppets, skits, stories, activities, and songs will grab their attention and make them want to come back for more!
We do this because we care about your child both developmentally and spiritually. We are here to partner with parents to guide our children into a relevant, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
And Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and men. Luke 2:52

Join Us In Blessing Area Families This Christmas
Children’s Ministry is partnering with the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities to make Christmas a bit brighter for some families this Christmas. Beginning November 11th, you will find “Angel Trees” in tinytown nursery, upTOWN preschool, and DOWNTOWN elementary. Check out the angels on the trees, choose one to take with you, and purchase gifts for that child. For more instructions, see the trees in each of the children's ministry areas or contact Pam Little at email@example.com or 419-223-9646 ext 1133.
This is a great way to teach your child about the joy of giving and sharing God’s love with others in a tangible way. (Adults without kids in our children's ministry - you are more than welcome to participate too.)
Frequently Asked Questions
Tell me about your volunteers.
All of our upTOWN volunteers and staff have been through volunteer training and have had a BCI and FBI background check.
How does promotion work?
Children in the 4 and 5 year old classes are promoted on their birthdays. Kindergartners will be promoted to 1st grade (DOWNTOWN) at the beginning of the school year.
What is your "well child" policy?
We ask that sick children not attend upTOWN in order to ensure the health of other children and staff.
What is your security policy?
In order to provide for the ultimate security of your child while in our care, we follow a strict security policy. This is to ensure that only the proper adult may pick up your child. When you register your child, you and your child will be given matching security ID numbers. You should sign your children in 15 minutes prior to the service starting. When the service is over, you must present your ID number to receive your child. If your child needs you during the service, we will put your security ID number on the screen in our main sanctuary and venue. (20 minutes after each service begins, the children’s area is secured and only parents with security tags are allowed to access this area.) In the unlikely occurrence the building needs evacuated, all parents will be directed to the East driveway parking lot where you may pick up your child with the approval of their leader.
